as a kid, i remember building model rockets and spending summer evenings firing them off!  it seemed only appropriate to celebrate those days of summers past in chalk.

during this pandemic it's important to look on the bright side and try to remain positive.  here's a bee to remind us to not worry...bee happy!

[fruits] of my labor

last summer, i planted two blueberry bushes at the end of the season.  all winter long, i waited to see if the roots took hold before the winter set in.  thankfully come spring, leaves actually appeared. early in the summer, blooms appeared and finally some fruit.  for a year, i've watered and worried. here are the literal fruits of my labor.
