bye bye [betty]

 a sad day....

i had to say goodbye to my girl betty this week. we had been together for 13 years.  she followed me from kansas to maine.  being an urban girl she had very few miles on her and consequently had very few problems over the years... however the harsh new england winters were too much for her and she ended up rusting out some very important structural parts.

she was my "single guy" car, and i loved her.  she accompanied most of my adult dates and was there to have fun summer with her top off.  however, times changed and there was this small issue of her being a two-door car now in a household with a toddler.

so with a heavy heart i traded her in, but i want to thank you for being such a great companion and helping make my 30's so great.
